Trip to London

In preparation for the Utopia and Dystopia i visited both the Tate Modern and Imperial War Museums. My aim at the Tate Modern was to find how other artists had interpretated uptopia and dystopia. The main part i was intenting to research in the tate was the surrealist section, the reason for this is because i feel the more surreal piece of a show to extremes interpretations of utopia and distopia. At the design museum my aim was to visit the holocaust museum, the reason being is because the nazi regime relates heavily to dystopia for many people but interestingly for people like Hitler it was actually Utopia.
