Film - Book of Eli

The film 'Book of Eli' is set in a dystopian future and the entire way though is shot in a sepia style tint. The tint gives an abnormal style feel and without even following the plot there is an unnatural feel to the film.

The plot of the films follows on from a nuclear apocalypse where civilization is on its knees. The character is in possession of the last bible left on earth, something which is coveted by many of the remaining people left on earth. The film reveals how without faith or leadership how people turn animal like and turn into gangs.

I found i interesting how the gangs in the film related to the current gang culture which is something which played a huge part in the recent London riots. This shows a massive lack of respect for higher figures whether it be religion or authority.
