In reference to the London riots i feel it is important to talk about the English civil war between the royalist and the parliamentarians. Although it has different sides i feel that the london riots is similar as it was between angry youth and the higher authorities such as police.
Due to human traits and people having problems with authority and being told what to do it can cause rift with escalate and turn into serious events such as war and rioting. The Civil war was similar as it was in effect a battle for control as neither party wanted to serve under the other.
